BACKGROUND: These Terms and Conditions apply to the sale of photography prints and digital downloads by Charlotte Wilson, trading as Charlie Cantrill Photography, through the website https://charliecantrill.co.uk (“the Site”). By purchasing items from this Site, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

  1. DEFINITIONS “Photographer” means Charlotte Wilson trading as Charlie Cantrill Photography. “Customer” means any person or entity placing an order on the Site. “Digital Download” means a photographic file sold for personal, editorial, or commercial use as outlined in Section 5. “Print” means a physical photographic print fulfilled either directly or via a third-party lab. “Order” means a confirmed request for one or more Prints or Digital Downloads.
  2. ORDERING Orders can be placed through the Site using the checkout system provided. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during checkout.
  3. PAYMENT All payments are processed securely via integrated payment gateways. Prices are listed in GBP and may be subject to change. An order is only confirmed once full payment has been received.
  4. DELIVERY Prints are fulfilled using a trusted third-party print lab. Estimated delivery times:
  • UK: 5–10 business days
  • International: 7–21 business days

Digital Downloads are delivered via email following purchase.

  1. LICENSE FOR DIGITAL DOWNLOADS Digital Downloads are available with different types of licenses depending on your intended use:

Personal/Editorial Use License You may:

  • Display the image on personal devices
  • Print for personal display (non-commercial settings) 
  • Use the image in editorial publications, blogs, or news articles
  • Use in online or print media where the image is part of an informative or illustrative story 

You may not:

  • Use the image to advertise, promote, or sell a product or service
  • Use the image as part of branding or logo design
  • Modify, resell, or redistribute the image
  • Use the image for any form of commercial purpose

Commercial Use License You may:

  • Use the image to promote or advertise a business, product, or service
  • Use the image in marketing materials, social media, or packaging 

You may not:

  • Claim ownership or authorship of the image
  • Resell or redistribute the image as-is or in a competing photography service

  1. RETURNS & REFUNDS Due to the custom nature of Prints and the instant delivery of Digital Downloads:
  • Prints may only be refunded or replaced if damaged in transit. Please contact us within 7 days with a photo of the damage.
  • Digital Downloads are non-refundable unless there is a technical issue preventing access to the file.
  1. COPYRIGHT All images remain the intellectual property of the Photographer. Purchase of a Print or Digital Download does not transfer copyright.
  2. LIABILITY The Photographer shall not be held responsible for delays or delivery issues caused by third-party providers or force majeure events.
  3. PRIVACY Your information is collected and used in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available at https://charliecantrill.co.uk/privacy-policy.
  4. CHANGES TO TERMS These Terms and Conditions may be updated occasionally. Your continued use of the Site and purchases following any updates indicates your acceptance of those changes.
