Hi, I’m Charlie – a UK-based photographer with a passion for all things nature and an aim to capture beautiful moments that can be enjoyed forever!
My photography journey started in 2022 when I started going on walks in the countryside – especially in East and North Yorkshire. I really enjoy taking pictures of the animals and plants that I see while on my journeys. Bit by bit I am building up my portfolio with more varieties of plants and lots of different animal species.
Last year, I started to dabble in other types of photography, such as local events and pet photography. I would like to expand my portfolios, so I try to attend local events where I can, and often have photoshoots with my hamster, Theodore.
Not only has Theodore let me practice pet photography, but also patience as well develop tricks to get the best pictures of him. He has become both my muse and menace in equal measure!
Whether I’m deep in a woodland or on a bustling street corner, I approach photography with the same mindset: to document life honestly, quietly, and artfully. I don’t stage or over-style – I prefer to let moments happen, and be ready when they do.

- Theodore the Hamster – My favourite model who is easily bribed with treats,
